Terms & Conditions Fit Lane

Group Classes
All memberships are Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable.
All members must be over 16 to avail of facilities and services provided at Fit Lane.
By joining the club, members automatically accept and agree to be bound by these conditions of membership & attendance.
Classes can be booked one week in advance.
A. Cancellation of Membership
In order to stop your membership, we require One Month Notice written confirmation to cancel membership. Please forward your request to cancel to our membership coordinator at membership@fitlane.ie
A.1 6 Week Challenge
To avail of your discounted membership after you have completed your 6 Week Challenge, you agree to a period of 12 months membership as per the terms and conditions in your contract received.
B. Freezing your Membership
Memberships can be frozen for minimum 1 month and maximum 6 months. Memberships can be frozen for medical reasons only. This request must be made in writing no sooner than 14 Days before renewal is due. On return a confirmation ‘fit to exercise’ letter must be provided from your health practitioner.
C. Failed Direct Debit Payments
Members are required to keep their account in funds to meet payments every 28 days. In the event of the failure to pay the monthly membership fee, missed payments will be re-submitted for payment by Fit Lane up to 4 times automatically. Each attempted payment incurs a fee to Fit Lane and so we would greatly appreciate your chosen card meets you payment each month.
Fit Lane reserves the right to cancel membership if payment is not received.
Access to the facility will be denied until said payment is received and if payment is not received, and cancellation occurs, the registration fee becomes applicable again on re-joining.
These arrears of fees must be paid by Credit or Debit card online booking and payment system. Failure to meet direct debit fee – In the event of the failure to pay the monthly direct debit fee, you will first be notified that your membership has been temporarily stopped until the balance is paid.
D. Cancelling a Class
Classes can be cancelled up to 6 hours prior to start time with no charge, and the credits you used to book the class will be automatically returned to your account. If a cancellation takes place within 6 hours of start time, a late cancellation fee will be charged. We may review or update this time limit in the future.
If you hold either Fit Lane 2 or Fit Lane 3 membership, you will now not lose your class credit for a late cancellation but instead be charged the cancellation fee.
E. Non-Attendance without Cancellation
If you miss a class without cancelling, the credits used to book will not be automatically returned to your account. A missed class fee will be charged for classes if a cancellation is not made within 6 hours of start time.
F. Cancellation Fee
Each cancellation fee is €5 per late cancellation. From time to time we may review or update these fees. The applicable fee will be noted in the Cancellation Policy section of the section of Fit Lane Terms & Conditions.
Personal Training
Payments
All packages are monthly payments in advance.
Accepted payments: App Payments, Bank Transfer, Cash Payment, Online Invoice, Payment by Card.
Sessions cannot be booked/confirmed until payment is received.
Rescheduling/Cancelling a session
· If you cancel your session with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to show your session will be lost.
· If you cancel your session with notice of more than 24 hours, then we will reschedule as soon as possible
· We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will take these rare circumstances into consideration.
· If you (the client) are late to a session, we will do our best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session as we may be unable to run over time due to previously arranged client commitments.
Package Duration
· Package agreements will run for an initial period of minimum 4 weeks.
· Packages cannot be extended past a 5 Week Period.
· Once the initial term has been completed, the agreement will run until further notice (please note that the agreement cannot be cancelled during the initial term).
· Any request to cancel this agreement after the initial term is completed is nonrefundable.
· We allow for up to two reschedules per block, any further reschedules will be regarded as missed sessions.
Nutrition Coaching
You will have access to the online coaching platform as long as you are a client.
It is crucial to stay in touch with your coach throughout this coaching program. If you send your coach a message, you should receive a response to any inquiries, questions, or concerns within 24-48 hours, with the exception of Sundays. If for some reason you do not receive a response to a message or check-in form within that 24-48 hour window, please send your coach a message.
We take your privacy and security very seriously. Everything you share with us is confidential, and nobody will see it beyond you and the coaching team at Fit Lane.
Throughout your Fit Lane Coaching journey, we will coach you through the process of building healthy eating habits and nutrition skills. This will provide you with the framework for a successful and sustainable approach to nutrition, giving you a solid path to reach your goals.
You’ll also be expected to track your practice with each skill in the Fit Lane Pro Coach software and mobile app. Doing so helps you create momentum toward healthier eating and living, and provides accountability along the way.
I acknowledge and agree that I understand Fit Lane’ refund policy as follows:
⁃ If I participate in the Fit Lane Nutrition Coaching program for twelve months, and am consistent with my habits, practices, and workouts, 80% of the time or more, and am not satisfied with my results, I can request a refund.
⁃ If I am not consistent with my skills, practices, and workouts at least 80% of the time, I will not be eligible for their money-back guarantee, since the money-back guarantee guarantees the program, not my participation in it.
General
Fit Lane may withdraw use of all or part of the services provided for the purpose of undertaking maintenance work or any other work considered necessary for a maximum period of seven working days.
Entry will only be permitted to those with a valid membership, in date and in credit. If you have an amount due to be paid on your account you won’t be able to book or attend classes or training services.
As a member you agree to comply with the rules with regards to use of the facilities, opening hours and your conduct. Fit Lane may make reasonable changes to these rules, from time to time, provided advanced notice of these changes is given.
You may, at your own discretion and expense, obtain personal insurance for loss, injury or damage that you might sustain arising from use of Fit Lane Facility and services. You exercise at your own discretion and accept any injury or illness brought on by exercise is your own responsibility.
Members wishing to report on accidents, incidents, or problems with services at Fit Lane should contact either owner (Aoife or Stephen) or can email Fitlanegalway@gmail.com in confidence.
In the event of a breach of membership rules and regulations Fit Lane reserves the right of admission and may reserve the right to require any member to leave the premises. Any member found in breach of rules or committing an illegal act, including theft, will be asked to permanently leave and be barred from ever entering again. Management reserves the right to alter, amend or change the Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Safety
Throughout the course of your membership, regular health and medical screening should be sought from your General Practitioner.
It is necessary that all members and guests of the club wear appropriate, clean attire and footwear when using the studio and gym.
If you feel dizzy, faint, unwell or feel any unusual pain then you must stop exercising and inform your trainer immediately.
We will periodically update our PARQ’s however class users are advised to inform the instructor of any injuries, pains, or concerns prior to the class starting.
Our Promise
Fit Lane is a no judgement zone and have a zero tolerance for shaming or negative comments on anyone’s body. If you are struggling with your own body image, please feel free to share with your trainer before or after your session, or via email and we will be available to help and support you.
We take your privacy and security very seriously. Everything you share with us is confidential, and nobody will see it beyond you and the coaching team at Fit Lane.
Fit Lane may change classes offered and class times from time to time. We will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible.
Disclaimer
I acknowledge and agree that Fit Lane and its representatives are not medical or healthcare professionals or registered dietitians. I certify that I am physically fit, that I have sufficiently prepared for participation in this activity, that I have had the opportunity to consult with a qualified medical or health care professional, and that I have not been advised not to participate in a training or nutrition program by a qualified medical or healthcare professional. In consideration of the services being provided under this agreement, I hereby WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Fit Lane Ltd and its Owners, Managers, Officers, Employees, Contractors, Agents, or other representatives (each, a “Fit Lane Party”) from and against any and all liability related to the services provided pursuant to this agreement, including, but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of a Fit Lane Party, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me as a result of the services.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS PARAGRAPH AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
